John and Paula Oliver are missionaries with Ethnos360, a non-denominational mission organization which concentrates on Bible translation and church planting among unreached people groups around the world. John, a computer engineer, and Paula, a registered nurse, met at New Tribes Bible Institute in 1988 after leaving their jobs with IBM and University of Arizona to invest their lives more fully in missions. Since 1991, they’ve been serving with Ethnos360 (formerly known as New Tribes Mission) at their U.S. headquarters in Sanford, Florida, part of the team helping to reach tribal folks around the world with the gospel of Christ.
John’s main project has been to help design, program, and support a custom accounting & administrative system, used by Ethnos360 at their U.S. and Canadian headquarters, training centers, and many of the overseas locations as well. More recently, John has also been helping as part of their Enterprise Information Systems team, working toward migrating their constituent, mobilization, personnel, financial, and payroll functions & subsystems to cloud-based software.
